A check on Bluesky costs 1 credit, and Bluesky is never checked more often than every 2 minutes. Credits meter the checks: the mentions they find are never capped. Nothing is charged during the public beta.
What happens to a mention
A search on Bluesky carries one term, because its own search requires every word it is given. A second spelling is a second search.
Every mention is read by the AI for a sentiment and an intent, and ranked by reach: what deserves an answer sits on top, with a reply drafted. The same post caught on two sources is one line.
It lands in your Feed and, the moment it is caught, in Slack, Discord, an email digest or a signed webhook. The REST API and the MCP server read the same stream.

Questions
Why only one term per search on Bluesky?
Because Bluesky’s search treats every word as required, including OR. We measured it: two terms in one search came back empty where each alone found posts. So a search on Bluesky takes one term and says so, rather than quietly returning nothing.
Can I watch an account rather than a keyword?
Yes. Give the Watch an author and each check reads that account’s feed, every new post arriving as a mention.
What does watching Bluesky cost in a month?
On Solo, checked every 15 minutes, one search costs 2,880 credits a month, 2% of the plan’s 150,000 credits. At 1 credit a check, it is the cheapest source to leave running.
