What a credit is, what is free, and what happens when the balance runs out.
What is one credit, exactly?
Credits meter fulfilled work. A Watch poll tick costs 1–100 credits depending on the Source, and an AI pass meters per batch. The table above prices each of them in dollars. Creating Watches, reading their events, reading usage and receiving a webhook all cost nothing. Raw scrape pulls are paused and charge nothing — their per-endpoint rates are listed for reference only.

What does one call cost in dollars?
Divide the plan fee by its monthly allowance and multiply by the endpoint's rate — that is exactly what the “Cost per 1,000 calls” table does, on every paid tier and the PAYG pack. A Watch tick on each Source, an AI pass and the Vinted analytics reads are all priced there rather than left as arithmetic.
Are failed calls billed?
Platform failures are free: our timeouts, our 5xx, a Source we could not reach, and rate-limit rejections. A definitive answer is billed even when empty or not found, because we fulfilled the request. Malformed input rejected before it touches a Source costs nothing.

What happens when the balance hits zero?
Watches pause with insufficient_credits — criteria and state are kept, nothing is deleted. Pull calls answer 402 with a machine-readable code rather than a truncated payload. Your balance never goes negative, and we never meter a tick we could not debit.

Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly allowances reset each cycle — the free 1,000 included — and a paid allowance clears when the plan ends. Credit packs persist until spent, on any tier, including Free.
How does annual billing work?
The plan fee is billed yearly at ten months instead of twelve — two months free. Credits still land monthly, and packs stay pay-as-you-go.

Can I change plan mid-month?
Upgrades prorate the unused time immediately and grant the full new allowance. Downgrades are immediate with no refund; allowance above the new quota is discarded, and Watches over the new cap or below the new minimum interval pause until they fit. Change plan as often as you like.
