Find the threads, and the people asking for what you sell
Enter your site. Nephia reads it, asks ChatGPT and Perplexity three buying questions about your category, and shows whether they cite you or someone else.
You get the Reddit and Hacker News threads those answers cite, with each subreddit's rule on self-promotion, and the posts of the last 30 days from people who have the problem you solve.
No account and no email. The result is a page you can share, and it stays out of search engines.
What the check shows you
- What we understood of your site
- Your name, your one line, your category, the phrases a buyer types before they know you exist, and the competitors your site names.
- Whether ChatGPT and Perplexity cite you
- The same three buying questions asked of both. For each answer: cited with a link, named without one, or absent, and the brands named in your place.
- The threads they cite
- The Reddit, Hacker News, Stack Overflow and Indie Hackers threads the answers point to. A reply there is read by the people and by the engines.
- Who asked this month
- Up to ten posts of the last 30 days on Reddit, Hacker News and Bluesky, read one by one: kept only when the author has the problem, with the sentence that says why.
How it reads your market
The questions name your category in full words, the way a buyer asks an assistant for a tool. They never name you: a question with your name in it measures nothing.
An answer about something else is marked off topic and left out of the verdict, so a question the engine misread does not count as you being absent.
The threads and the posts are searched with the phrases your buyers write, whole, and every post older than the month is dropped. Each Reddit thread comes with its subreddit rule on self-promotion, so you know before you reply.
What we keep, and for how long
Each check is logged: the domain, the result, what it cost, and the address and browser it was asked from, which we use against abuse and to keep the service free. The address and the browser are erased after 90 days. The Privacy page says the same.
A site checked in the last 7 days comes back instantly with that result. Each visitor gets three new checks a day.
After the check
The check is one look. Nephia watches the same questions and the same phrases every hour, sends you the posts worth answering, and drafts a reply that follows the community rules.
Questions
Do I need an account or an email?
No. Type your site and the result opens on its own page. An account is only needed to watch the same questions and phrases every hour.
What do you store about my check?
The domain, the result and its cost, the page you came from, and the address and browser the check came from. We use them against abuse and to cap the free checks, and erase the address and the browser after 90 days.
How many checks can I run?
Three a day per visitor, within a daily total for everyone. A site checked in the last 7 days answers instantly from that check and does not count.
